U.S. Army Medical Research and Material Command
The U.S. Army Medical Research and Material Command aims to protect, treat and optimize warrior health and performance across the full spectrum of military operations. To such ends, it has awarded Dr. Amishi Jha (University of Miami) and Dr. Elizabeth Stanley (Georgetown University and the Mind Fitness Training Institute) a multi-year grant to continue studying the benefits of MMFT. This study, from 2009-2013, examines different versions of MMFT against control groups, to see which aspects of the training are most effective at improving performance and enhancing resilience before deployment.
Department of Defense Centers for Excellence (DCoE) for Psychological Health and Traumatic Brain Injury
